My name is Svetlana Lavrentyeva and I am the owner and a head designer of Laurel Landscaping Studio. 

Previously, I studied at the Moscow Architectural University, where I followed the landscape architecture course. After moving to Finland in 2014, I completed my agricultural degree. During my work I mostly designed, planted and maintained private gardens by myself or as part of international team. I have been creating gardens since 2010 in Russia, and then for the last 6 years in Finland.

In June 2023 I moved with family from Finland to the Netherlands, because of my partner’s international work. 

In my designs I look for the right balance between people and nature. Smart spatial solutions and creativity beyond plants are a top priority for me to create good design. From a design point of view, natural plants and modern lines and materials complement each other. The main point of garden design is always based on the client’s personality. This makes every task challenging and every garden design unique!
